Affairs of the company are managed by the Board of Directors to discuss various matters regarding management and affairs of the company.
In India Board Meeting in companies are governed by section 173 of the companies Act 2013.
Board meeting must be held within 30 days from the incorporation of the company.
There shall be minimum 4 Board meeting in a year, gap between two board meeting shall not be more than 120.
However, in case of OPC, small co., startup co., Dormant company, at least 1 Board meeting shall be conducted in half of the calendar year, gap between two meetings shall not be less than 90 days.
